The problem with upgrading one's computer is that if one has to do it in a rush, you don't get your stuff to the new computer in a timely fashion. Like what you've been writing off and on for the past year or two, for example, and/or everything else. Which has made it difficult to keep going with the stuff I'd like to get going with. Maybe I should get something new going, but damnit, I don't feel like it.
I've had to do it twice in the past 6 or 7 months - the desktop and the laptop (the laptop literally imploding on me a day into our Florida vacation, via hard mechanical failure - the desktop having to be wiped of personal documents on the speedy to be pressed into service for my little brother). This bothers me, but SCIENCE.. wait, there's no science here. Sometime, I'll get everything transferred and begin writing more. Seriously.
I passed my EMT exam, by the way. That was 6 months ago, but hey.
The major problem with continuing what I've started (FOOS!) is that I don't know -how- to characterize people. Most of what I've done in the past relies on people already knowing the characters involved - I want to expand upon the non-Seth people and their motivations and outlooks and personalities, but it's never something I've really thought about doing in any medium. Which is frustrating, and causing me to spend much time spinning my metaphorical pencil, staring at the metaphorical paper.

*tackles* This be Aai. *nodnod*
